Monday 6th October 2025 - Parish Church of the Ascension Main Hall 8pm - 10:00pm Bring and Share refreshments
This year has seen record breaking dry and warm weather grip the UK. Spring
2025 was the driest on record with only 62% of average rainfall and the
Summer only received 79% as well as being the warmest on record and recording 4
official heatwaves with temperatures over 30°C. Whilst this was welcomed by
holdaymakers, it has put significant stress on the supplies of our most valuable
asset - fresh water.
Tonight's programme celebrates this
most precious resource in its many forms.
