Last Year, to celebrate their centenary year, the RSCDS published their 53rd book of dances which contains 12 brand new dances plus 12 older dance favourites from around the world. To accompany the publication, the RSCDS also released a double album with superb recordings of all the dances in the new book. David Oswald and his Band recorded the tracks for the new dances and Nicol McLaren and his Band, the older ones.

Tonight's programme highlights both aspects of the book with the first half featuring the older dances and the second half featuring the newer ones. We have danced them all before, but a couple have not been done at Wembley for many years.
