A Tribute to Derek Haynes

This Summer, the RSCDS released a new CD by Laim Stewart and his Band that showcases some of the dances devised by Derek Haynes. Derek is one of our most prolific and respected devisors with 75 dances listed on the dance database. A number of them are staples of our repertoire, this season we have already danced two of his most popular dances - Ray Milbourne and MacDonald of the Isles.

Tonight we'll be dancing ten of Derek's dances, some are well known while others are new to us. Music will come from the new Liam Stewart CD as well as tracks by Alistair Wood, Sandy Nixon, Neil Barron and Nicol McLaren.
